NG KONG POLICE GENERAL ORDERS DANED 11-1945.
SALARIES
There appears to be some uncertainty in the minds of the
Sergeants, Sub-Inspectors and Inspectors of the HONG KONG pre-war
Police Force as to whether recently appointed officers are to be
given advantage of salary or seniority as compared with themselves,
This notios is intended to re-assure them that, though it is
impracticable at the moment to publish the details of the scheme,
the recommendations sulxdtted to the Government - which are now
under argent consideration have been designed to safe-guard and
improve the position of pro-war police officers.
